En - suite...

LOVING my NEW cabinet!

  1. Cabinet looks just wonderful! And beautifully arranged.
Can I ask a personal question?
How do you live without mirrors above the basins and blinds at the windows?
Do you wake up at dawn, flash the neighbours at night and miss bits shaving or are you sneaking off to another bathroom?
You needn't satisfy my curiosity, but having spent ages redoing some bathrooms recently, all those long-considered and agonising aesthetic decisions went under appreciated in my household compared to convenient towels right out of the shower and lights over a mirror (as opposed to only behind one or overhead, oops) . Was just wondering how you were coping. M

    1. This room + all of the others are still working in progress! I'm adding stuff as we are coming across things...So keep following!

I'm looking at tiling the wall with the basins + adding wall lights and mirrors, SO - this room is a long way off finished!!!

  2. ahhhhhhh... I LOVE it! and the shoe cabinet too! I'm not a fan of "built-ins" so those two cabinets are a dream! Fab styling, as always.

  5. =O I've got no words for this. I love every single thing I see! Love the cabinet, it looks so vintage, perfect for a bathroom! And it is just great how you styled it: white towels make it look tidy and organized. Apothecary jars on the top look beautiful, and they bring an "Old Pharmacy" look to the set. The (I think they're) hydrangeas? bring nature to the room and makes it look not so... "Medical"? Perfection.

I love the seashells and coral, too. And the ivory boxes, are they Jo Malone? =) Very, very nice. And still two sinks and a "Clawfoot" tub. Your ensuite bathroom is a Treasure! A Dream come true. Think I could not love it any more =D.

  7. Firstly, I love this, the dark floor boards and the genius of making the period pieces black and white and letting their ornate detail be a textural statement instead of an overpowering feature is just enviable. Secondly, there is no moose head in this room (or none that is shown in the pictures) a rams skull is in the cabinet and what looks like a Gazelle or something similar is on the the wall, but as your spelling would suggest perhaps you didn't reach that part of school so I'll let that one slide.
